This is game publisher Xiaomi's first venture into the battle royale genre of video games.
As a battle royale title, you pick from a variety of characters to play as, get spawned into a battle map, scrounge for weapons and items to use against other players, loot the gear from the players you kill, rinse and repeat until you are the last player or last team standing. Game play modes are "Solo," "Squad" and the newbie-friendly "Elective."
Controls for the game are designed with the mobile interface in mind and so you have only a handful of buttons to worry about. This cuts down on any anxiety regarding not knowing what function a button serves or hitting the wrong button while panicked that another player is out for blood.
Unlike some of the leading battle royale games, this particular title offers different aesthetics to your player character. You can play as a human who looks right at home in "Star Wars," a catgirl or a bulky, masculine dwarf straight out of a fantasy game.
Pros: Daily sign-in bonus. Matches are quick to start.
Cons: Avatar voices do not match their characters. Graphics and audio are lacking. Rather resource and internet-connection-intensive.
