Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War for Windows is a premium first-person shooter that returns the Black Ops storyline to a more grounded military setting. Set in 1981, it places players in the middle of US and Soviet tensions, with a campaign built around the hunt for Perseus, a suspected Soviet spy with deep influence inside American intelligence.
The single-player mode is one of the game’s stronger points for players who enjoy story-driven shooters. Familiar Black Ops characters such as Alex Woods, Frank Mason, and Jason Hudson return, while historical figures, including Ronald Reagan, are woven into the plot.
