Miles Morales with sharper visuals and richer audio
Spider-Man: Miles Morales for Windows brings the 2020 spin-off to PC in remastered form, keeping the same story while improving the presentation. You play as Miles, a young Spider-Man still learning what the role means, as he protects Harlem from threats involving Roxxon Energy Corporation and the Underground.
The main appeal is the combination of familiar superhero action and a more polished audiovisual package. This version uses upgraded textures and higher-quality audio for the soundtrack, which helps the city, characters, and action scenes feel more refined than in the original release. It also includes all previously available suits plus two additional costumes, giving returning players a small but welcome reason to revisit the game.
For players moving over from PlayStation 4, the ability to transfer progress to Windows is a useful feature. It makes the PC version less of a complete restart and more of a continuation, especially if you still have missions, collectibles, or suits left to unlock.
The trade-off is that this is not a new chapter. The remaster does not add fresh story content or new powers, so anyone who already completed the game fully should expect a better-looking version rather than a substantially expanded one. The improved presentation also comes with higher system requirements, which is worth considering before choosing the Windows edition.
Overall, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is best suited to players who missed the original, fans who want to experience Miles’ story on PC, or returning players who value visual and audio upgrades. It is a focused, story-driven superhero game with meaningful refinements, but limited new material.
