Its web checking is limited to material that is available online, so it will not detect copying from printed-only sources, but the developer says it can compare against a very large pool of web pages.

The Cross Comparison option is especially useful for finding overlap between submitted documents, while Simple and Selective reports give more focused ways to review similarity results.

Results are presented in a clear, visual format. Color ratings help show how close a match is, with stronger matches highlighted more prominently. Reports can also display matched sentences and sources in HTML or DOC format, making it easier to review evidence without digging through raw search results. After a scan, results can be examined offline, which is helpful when you want to continue reviewing without staying connected.

There are some limits to keep in mind. The program shows only the first 15 pages of matching sites, and it does not support drag and drop. It also supports seven languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, and Portuguese.
