This is a turn-based battle game focusing on one iteration of the "Power Rangers" franchise.
This game has you controlling the rangers of the Dino Charge series and its storyline plays out close to what you would expect if you watched the show. Said story breaks down into 20 levels across seven chapters and is presented like a comic book, with multiple panels in 2D art.
While you would assume this would be an action title, this particular game uses a bit of turn-based strategy. Each ranger has multiple moves that can be commanded by performing specific touch controls and are more effective when properly timed. Turns go back and forth between the heroes and villains until one side falls. Understandably, some levels have you controlling the Dino Megazord in order to fight really big enemies.
While this title is hardly revolutionary, it is a solid way of killing time and having fun if you are a Power Rangers fan.
Pros: Great soundtrack. The comic book story mode is a nice touch. Every character has voiced dialogue.
Cons: Large file size. Gameplay is repetitive. You only play as the five core rangers. A paywall locks off everything after Chapter 2.
