This is a third-person shooting game that features lots of guns and destruction.
"Frontline Commando" places you in the combat boots of a one-many army. Your character picks up an arsenal of weapons to deploy with a simple touch-based control scheme of "fire," "reload," "seek cover" and "duck and reload." Participate in missions where you kill everything else that moves, endure waves of threats until time expires or even rescue innocents and POWs from the battlefield. Mission types and goals are disparate enough to keep things nice and varied. Missions are also one of the ways you can acquire the many, many, many weapons in this title; in-app purchases are the other way, some of which are exclusive to that form of currency.
Despite all of the hectic action you can experience in a single level, the game offers not a bit of lag, only consistent challenge. Audio is perfectly serviceable and there is a good deal of variety in enemy types.
This game features Facebook interactivity. You can post your high scores and challenge your friends to beat your record.
Pros: Graphics. Controls. Plenty of content.
Cons: In-app purchases. Difficulty can rise to the point of justifying in-app purchases.
