Official F1 racing with story career and multiplayer modes

F1 2021 for Windows is the official game of the 2021 FIA Formula One World Championship, built for players who want a full season experience rather than a simple racing title. It includes the season’s drivers and circuits, along with several ways to play alone, locally, or online.

The headline addition is Braking Point, a story mode that follows your rise from Formula 2 toward Formula 1. It gives the game a more guided, character-driven structure, with returning rival Devon Butler adding tension to the career path. This mode is useful for players who like racing with context and progression, not just standalone events.

Career mode has also been expanded. You can now play with a friend online, either working together or choosing separate teams and turning the season into a rivalry. The Real-Season Start option is a smart touch, letting you begin at a chosen point in the real championship using current driver and constructor standings from that stage of the season.

The returning My Team mode remains one of the most practical features for long-term play. It lets you create a driver, manage their career, and compete as an additional team on the grid. Split-screen racing is also included, which is welcome for local play, and the game keeps adjustable assists such as steering help, making it more approachable for less experienced players. Shorter season options for both F1 and F2 add flexibility if you do not want to commit to a full calendar.

The main limitation is that F1 2021 can be heavy on system resources, so it is better suited to Windows PCs capable of handling demanding modern racing games. It is best for Formula One fans, career-mode players, and anyone who wants official teams, circuits, multiplayer options, and a structured racing experience in one package.
