It keeps the core idea simple: you are a child tricked into attending a religious summer camp, only to end up trapped inside a school watched by Sister Madeline, a hostile nun armed with a huge hammer.

The game is structured around escape, exploration, and puzzle solving. Instead of simply running from danger, you need to uncover new areas, solve mysteries, and progress through six chapters. Each chapter opens up more of the school and introduces fresh puzzles, giving the experience a clearer sense of progression than a one-note chase game.
