This is the 2011 edition of the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise of sports video games.
This is Konami's leading franchise of soccer titles and is well-known for its great graphics (for the time), fluid animations and controls that hit the Goldilocks zone of comfort without really trying. This title features many official licenses from various soccer clubs and competitions. Game modes include a training mode, to better grasp the controls, and various European soccer competitions like the Europa League.
The first step before starting a match is to look over the quality of players on your team. You want to field the 11 best players for the match and also figure out a strategy of play. The presence of five different levels of difficulty means that you can make the AI as dumb or as smart as you want.
The two biggest drawbacks of this particular title are the lack of a multiplayer feature and the barebones amount of settings within the game.
Pros: Quality graphics and animations for a game from the early 2010s. Plenty of modes and competitions to play. Top-tier UI. Five levels of challenge.
Cons: This is strictly a single-player experience with few game options.
